Lifts for railway vehicles. 

IME-Autolift provides a wide variety of lifts for railway vehicles of all types. Amongst these are an extensive range of mobile lifting jacks for rail vehicles from light-rail carriages to complete heavy-rail multiple units, as well as stationary train lifting systems and lifting-turning devices.

 

VersatileRailway Traction

Lifting jacks with this load are generally used for trams, metros and small wagons.

  • 4 to 48 jacks combinable
  • With fixed or adjustable anvil
  • Via running gear and light-weight construction highly mobile (also available without running gear for fixed mounting)

Optional:

Wireless control (wireless operation and control via secure and safe industry standard wireless system). The jacks will be controlled and operated wireless. Only a power cable necessary

Master/Slave System (one control panel on each side of the rails that communicate wireless or with one control cable. Therefore, none or only one control cable is crossing the rails. Furthermore due to 2 control panels available a system can be split into 2 independent subsystems.

Battery powered Lifting. In combination with a wireless control a completely cable free system is possible. No cable canals in the depot anymore and complete flexibility of use.

INGROUND BOGIE LIFTING JACKS

Analog to underfloor lifting jacks there is also the possibility to use underfloor jacks for bogies. Like with its big brother it is an efficient and easy way to realize an underfloor system.

No matter if a new built or retrofitting an existing depot Autolift will provide a suitable solution.

Bogie maintenance companies or OEMs of bogies normally don’t need to lift wagons. However, especially in those areas a high and efficient output is essential. Therefore, underfloor systems provide the needed solution.

BOGIE LIFTING JACKS

Also with bogies we of course offer a mobile solution.

If and underfloor system is not necessary or possible mobile bogie lifting jacks provide a sensible solutions.

Those systems too will be custom made and option like explosive proof or wireless controlled are possible

BOGIE DROPTABLES

Bogie Droptables and self-propelled bogie droptables are an easy and efficient way to upgrade an existing, non inground system, with a bogie solution. Structural alterations are normally not necessary and therefore investment keep within limits.

Also for new installations a combination of lifting jacks with droptables should not be discarded especially if the number of daily strokes remain limited.

 

BOGIE TURNTABLES

Of course Autolift also offers manual or self-propelled bogie turntables. Like all our systems turntables too will be designed based on customer specifications.

Underfloor lifting stands are the Rolls Royce of lifting systems. No matter if tram, metro, trainset or high-speed trains there is no faster and more efficient way to lift. Combined with bogie lifts and turn tables or complete automation nearly everything is possible.

INGROUND LIFTING STANDS (ELECTROMECHANICAL OR HYDRAULIC)

Underfloor lifting stands can be carried out electromechanical or hydraulic. Beside the different means of propulsion the systems are very similar and all advantages can be used.

INGROUND LIFTING STANDS (TELESCOPIC )

A special variant of our underfloor installations are telescopic systems.

With those systems you can achieve a very high stroke even with a very shallow pit. This comes in handy as existing pits don’t have to be deepened

We offers a range of different lifting-turning systems for wagon manufacturers.

Welding works on wagon-frames are made especially easy by using our lifting-turning devices.

No matter if bogie, wagon frame, engine. Transmission or whole wagons our lifting/turning devices are proven and tested and a very effective solution for making maintenance faster and cheaper.

The development of this system originates in the wish of an Australian customer who was planning a fully automated maintenance depot with on floor lifting jacks that have a bogie lift integrated.

Therefore, we did develop this double spindle lifting jack where one spindle is powering the lifting of the wagon like usual and the second spindle is responsible for the lowering of the bogie.

So it’s possible to separate wagon and bogie with one and the same lifting jack.
