TEST & VERIFY / BOGIES

Test the bogie as a complete system before it goes back under the vehicle.

A bogie is more than individual springs and components. The assembled system has to carry load, sit correctly and respond as intended.

In practice: place the complete bogie in a test stand, load it like a vehicle would, and check the result before installation.

TECHNOLOGY PRINCIPAL
Easydur railway technology logo

Italy · Bogie & suspension testing

Bogie test stands plus spring, damper and wheel testing for railway production and overhaul.

IRMIE railway technology logo

IRMIE Impianti

Italy · Integrated railway test facilities

Custom test benches and complete depot validation systems where the bogie test sits inside a larger facility.

PRODUCT OPTIONS

Use a railway bogie stand for the bogie itself; use IRMIE when the requirement becomes a larger integrated test facility.

Easydur’s PRT/bogie test-stand family is the core direct route. IRMIE becomes valuable when power, controls, additional benches and facility integration are part of the same project.

01

Easydur Bogie Test Stand / PRT

Load and verify complete bogies in a controlled workshop setup.

Best for: bogie production, overhaul and acceptance

02

Suspension Geometry & Load Verification

Check how the assembled bogie sits and carries load.

Best for: post-overhaul adjustment and quality control

03

IRMIE Integrated Test Facility

Combine bogie validation with other workshop test and power systems.

Best for: new depots, production centers and comprehensive test rooms

04

Lifecycle Calibration & Retrofit

Keep test systems controlled as fixtures, software and fleet requirements change.

Best for: installed test benches over long service life

HOW IT WORKS

Test the assembly as an assembly.

01

Position the bogie

Place the complete unit into the test stand.

02

Apply controlled loads

Reproduce the defined vehicle load cases.

03

Measure geometry and response

See how the suspension and assembly behave together.

04

Adjust or release

Use the result before the bogie returns to the vehicle.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Correct individual parts do not guarantee a correct assembled bogie.

Assembly, suspension setting and geometry can change the complete system behaviour.

Before: the components have been assembled and assumed correct.

After: the complete bogie has been tested under controlled load.

CBP'S ROLE

The product is only useful when it fits the real railway job.

CBP defines whether the customer needs a dedicated bogie stand or a larger test-facility package, then coordinates the Easydur or IRMIE route accordingly.

NEXT STEP

Need a bogie test stand or a full test facility?

Send the bogie type, load cases and workshop context. CBP will structure the correct system.
