ENAG

A railway battery can show plausible voltage and still have lost useful capacity. ENAG covers the workshop cycle from charging and discharge testing to portable support power and onboard conversion.
FULL CBP-RELEVANT OFFERING

Think in energy-maintenance jobs, not model numbers.

ENAG's portfolio is easier to navigate by task: test a battery, charge it, discharge it, provide temporary DC power or convert onboard electrical power.

Charge & discharge

BCD / BCDM and related systems combine controlled battery charging, discharge and capacity measurement for railway battery workshops.

Discharge only

DPF / BDB routes focus on controlled discharge and battery-capacity assessment where charging is handled separately.

Charging

CDP, CDS4, CRM, CRT and CDSP cover portable, fixed and onboard railway battery-charging roles according to configuration.

Depot / onboard power

PSEA/PBD boosters, DC supplies and MD/SD converters/inverters support temporary vehicle activation, maintenance and onboard auxiliary power.

01

Battery capacity testing

Find how much useful energy remains, not only the resting voltage.

02

Routine charging

Maintain batteries with controlled fixed or portable charging.

03

Portable depot support

Bring charging/discharge or temporary power to distributed maintenance locations.

04

Vehicle activation

Use boosters or depot DC supply for starting / pantograph-raising / maintenance tasks where applicable.

05

Onboard conversion

Provide project-specific DC/DC or inverter functions inside railway electrical systems.

GUIDED SELECTION

What electrical-maintenance job do you need to perform?

The task determines the equipment family. Battery chemistry and electrical architecture determine the configuration.

BCD / BCDM or dedicated discharge route

Use controlled charge/discharge or discharge testing when the maintenance decision depends on actual usable battery capacity.

Voltage, current, power, battery chemistry, ventilation, hydrogen risk, protection and duty cycle must be confirmed before configuration.
WHY THIS TECHNOLOGY ROUTE?

Battery condition is an energy-delivery question, not a voltage reading.

Capacity testing asks the battery to perform under controlled load. That exposes degradation that a simple resting-voltage check may miss and supports evidence-based replacement planning.
