TEST & VERIFY / DAMPERS

See exactly how the damper controls movement.

A damper can look perfect on the outside and still produce the wrong force internally. Dynamic testing reveals the real force response.

In practice: move the damper at controlled speeds and measure how strongly it resists that movement.

TECHNOLOGY PRINCIPAL
Easydur railway technology logo

Italy · Railway damper testing

Railway-focused dynamic and fatigue testing for shock absorbers and suspension components.

CTW Automation

USA · Damper dynos & programmable actuators

Flexible crank dynos, linear actuators, spring raters and automated test systems.

PRODUCT OPTIONS

Choose railway-specialist qualification or a flexible dynamic-test platform.

Easydur is the direct railway route. CTW provides a broad configurable platform where force, velocity, stroke and waveform fit the required test.

01

Easydur FAT Shock Absorber

Railway damper dynamic and fatigue testing.

Best for: railway production, overhaul and qualification

02

CTW RD Dyno Family

Crank-type damper and shock dynos across several performance classes.

Best for: routine force-velocity characterization

03

CTW LA Linear Actuators

Programmable electric actuators for custom waveforms and long-stroke tests.

Best for: development, track-replay style testing and special components

04

CTW Probe Software

Control tests, collect data and compare results.

Best for: repeatable workshop and laboratory workflows

05

Calibration / Retrofit

Maintain or upgrade installed test equipment and legacy systems.

Best for: long-term availability

HOW IT WORKS

Move it. Measure force. Compare the curve.

01

Install the damper

Mount it in the correct fixture and orientation.

02

Run the movement

Apply the required speed, stroke or waveform.

03

Measure force response

Build the actual force-versus-motion picture.

04

Compare and decide

Use the result for acceptance, tuning or investigation.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Damper condition is dynamic.

A visual check cannot tell you whether internal damping forces still match the suspension requirement.

Before: the damper is judged by leakage, appearance or age.

After: its actual force response is measured under controlled movement.

CBP'S ROLE

The product is only useful when it fits the real railway job.

CBP defines the test envelope and avoids overclaiming generic equipment as railway-qualified when a specialist railway system is required.

NEXT STEP

Need a damper bench for production, overhaul or development?

Send force, stroke, speed and test-purpose information. CBP will route it to Easydur or CTW.
